No Interest Sep 27, 2009 My child had no interest in this toy. She would rather take the beads off and learn how to take the thing apart. She might be a bit young for it, so I will give it more time, but overall the toy was not a big hit at my house.

THis toy has arsenic in it! Sep 16, 2009 I bought this toy as it was cute and I'd read that Melissa and Doug make good toys with non-toxic ingredients. According to healthytoys.org, this toy has medium levels of arsenic in it. I'm not going to let my baby play with this. I'm so sick of having to search for non-toxic toys! How do the manufacturers get away with it?.... especially manufacturers like Melissa and Doug who claim to make natural non-toxic toys.
Hours of Enjoyment Sep 15, 2009 My son got this for Christmas last year. He has loved it since it came out of the package. This toy has provided hours upon hours of fun for him. He is fascinated with it. It's 8 months later and this toy is still in circulation in his vast collection of play items. I'll probably get him an even bigger one for Christmas this year. Highly recommend!
Not impressed. May 28, 2009 Can't say either of us was impressed with this for long. I would add though that when my daughter threw it on the hardwood floor, one of the beads cracked, yet it remained intact and on the track. So it seems pretty durable at least!

contains harmful chemicals May 12, 2009 This toy was reviewed by safetoys.org and has small amounts of arsenic in the red wire. No amount is okay to me. You can be sure the little ones will chew on this. I am disappointed that Melissa and Doug. I expected better from them.
