Great fun! Oct 14, 2009
Our 8 year old son loves this toy and is able to follow the directions and think creatively while he is having fun. We had a defective part, but the company was very prompt and fast in getting us a replacement part at no charge.
Great toy, even for younger kids Sep 17, 2009
My 3-year old loves playing with this kit. We've been alternating between assembling and disassembling the Rover at least several times a week before he goes to bed. It's become a part of our quiet time/sleep routine. I am directing and doing most of the assembly process, but he loves calling out the types of parts and snapping them in place. Once the car is assembled, he takes a turn with the remote control, though still has trouble getting wheels on both sides moving at the same time.
He also quite enjoys breaking the circuits apart. We then sort and replace the pieces into their proper silos in the box, which teaches him shapes. I am also trying to teach him numbers by talking about the number of attachments on each circuit. I am very surprised and pleased by the amount of use we are getting out of this toy, particularly given the age of my son.

I'm so glad after getting this for my son for his 6th birthday that we didn't get the other remote vehicles we'd been considering. You can build it (snap it together), change it if desired, etc. It's very durable and if you have missing or broken parts, there is a cust. service email and phone # to get in touch with the company. I'm amazed how it goes on the carpet and the kitchen floor and over obstacles w/o trouble. A wonderful educational toy. Well worth the money. I would buy it again.

I purchased this item for my grandson. As I live abroad, his mother told me what a great gift this was and how much fun he has with it. I always go for educational toys : It challenges him and keeps his interest.

This is a great toy for kids who like to to construct. It's a great alternative for a lego lover. It's also well made and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
