Would recommend for older kids. Nov 01, 2009 We got this for our two year old, but he really isn't into it. My six year old is learning how to tell time though and it's definitely helpful for that. However the product itself is great for shapes and it is made extremely well. I would recommend it!

Lots of life in this toy Oct 20, 2009 When she was 1, my daughter just liked turning it over, watching the pieces scatter, then collecting them in a little bag. By 16 months, she was beginning to start fitting the pieces back in. At two, she's naming the pieces by shape and by number. Pretty soon, we'll start talking about how to tell time. Very long life; a great value. Some of the pieces are beginning to show a little wear around the edges, but I wouldn't consider that a detractor on a solid wooden toy.

A GREAT toy that grows with baby Oct 15, 2009 My 14-month-old daughter loves to hold the blocks and bang them together. She likes to take the blocks OUT of the puzzle as well. I know in time she will like to put them in and we will work on telling time together as well.
Highly recommend it.
Tip: we keep the blocks in a Ziploc baggie b/c we kept "misplacing" some of them around the house :)

A good toy to learn shapes, more than time... Oct 11, 2009 Very sturdy and great toy to help children learn shapes. Children get more attracted to shapes and matching rather than trying to learn reading a clock.
Good way to explore telling time Oct 05, 2009 I like this clock -- it's good for exploring how to tell time. It's different from a Judy clock in that you have to move the hands yourself, that is, they move independently of each other. The Judy clock has gears that move both hands together if you move the long hand. There are benefits to both, so you should consider which you like best before making a purchase. I do like the variety of shapes to learn. It's nice to go beyond circle, square, triangle, and rectangle.
