My granddaughter is 3 years old and was delighted by the Melissa and Doug Cookie set. I found it to be just as described and decorated so that a little one would enjoy and have fun with it for hours while playing house or having tea with grandma or her favorite friends. She's able to pretend that she "cuts" the cookie dough with the wooden knife and place it on a cookie sheet for baking. They are then decorated. The only reason that I didn't give it the five stars on durability is that some of the Velcro that holds the cookies and frosting together don't appear to be very strong and aren't holding very well. I believe I will need to somehow replace the Velcro in the future. Even with this minor problem, I do think it was a good investment and would purchase it again due to the imagination factor that I have enjoyed watching so far. For that, it is priceless.

We gave this to our almost 2-yr old son for Christmas. He and his 3-yr old brother love putting the cookies on the tray, taking them off, serving them, and taking them in & out of the storage cylinder. We've given it as a gift to our 3-yr old niece, who also loves playing with it. It complements a tea set well.

What a neat toy! I bought this for my 2-year-old, to go with her Melissa & Doug kitchen set and not only does she love it, but so does my 7-year-old daughter. They love to "cut" the cookies apart, decorate them with the included cookie decorations, and "bake" them in her toy oven. I love the way it all stores neatly in the tube that looks like a real cookie can. Melissa and Doug never fails to impress me with their products!

My niece loves to "make" cookies, so I knew this gift would be perfect for her. She LOVED it! I can't wait for her to try out the other Melissa & Doug products!

This was my 2 year old daughter's favorite toy from Christmas. She plays with it at least twice a day, distributing cookies to
everyone. She always wears the oven mitt and yells out cookies anyone? It is great that they put velcro on the bottoms of
each one to stick to the sheet. What a great idea.
